Permanent Cookies and Session Cookies
There are two types of cookies. One type called “permanent cookie” saves a file that is left on the visitor’s computer. It is used, for example, to be able to customize the site according to the visitor’s wishes, choices and interests, to adapt external advertising and for statistical follow-up. The second type is called “session cookie”. While a visitor is on a web page, it is temporarily stored in the visitor’s computer memory. Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Our site uses both permanent cookies and session cookies.
We use both types of cookie for our advertising to make it more relevant to users and more valuable to Postpac. They are used to make it possible to select ads based on what is relevant to the user, improve reporting on different campaigns and to prevent ads that have already been shown to you from appearing again.
We use session cookies for our visitor statistics. Websites often collect information about what users have in mind during a visit. It may be about which pages users visit most often, and whether users receive error messages on certain pages. We use session status cookies to improve our offers and website so that users get a better experience on the web. If you block or remove these cookies, the website can still be used.
IP number and domain address
Postpac makes visitor statistics on, among other things: number of visits, number of times individual pages are read, which URLs the visitors come from and which search engines and keywords were used to reach us. This gives us a picture of what can be changed, improved or removed. We can also see the name of your domain and host, such as telia.com. We save the IP number from the computer (server) you use, which browser you use and which operating system. In addition, we save the date and time you entered on our website and from where you linked. This information is not disclosed, but is only used to improve our website and present the content better so that visitors find the right one. The visitor statistics do not contain information about or links to social security numbers, personal names, e-mail addresses, or other personal information.
